Beancurd Fish

This is a fish made of bean curd:

This is pan fried bean curd fish:

How to coat and pan fry:
you need-
a bowl of flour
a bowl of seasoned breadcrumbs or panko (you can add your own Italian spices and paprika)
a bowl of soy milk with a squirt of lemon juice

You don’t want your hands gettin’ all goopy!

1. Dredge ‘fish’ in flour
2. Dredge in milk
3. Dredge in breadcrumbs

Place in a PREHEATED oiled pan on medium heat. Pan fry on both sides until golden brown!

BONUS: Tartar sauce
3 parts Vegenaise
2 parts relish
equals yum!

Have a great dinner!

TIP: DO NOT EAT raw. Doesn’t taste very good. But fine once cooked!

What the heck is that fish thing?? That is the weirdest thing EVER. Did you buy it? I’m a small town gal and I know I haven’t seen much in the way of asian fake-meat things, but that is creeping me out a little….:0)

I haven`t been visited in your blog in times but now I found really good looking new posts! That “mock fish” looks terribly “real”, but I hope in some day we- finnish vegans, could also get some of those Asian specialities in your Chinese/Asian markets, which have in this moment not a really big amount of those fake meats etc. things for vegans.
